Çanaqçı ((アルメニア語:Ավետարանոզ / Avetarnots)), also spelled Chanakhchi and Chanakhchy) is a village in the Khojali Rayon of Azerbaijan. Since the Nagorno-Karabakh war the town has been administered by the ''de facto'' Nagorno-Karabakh Republic as part of Askeran Province.〔http://census.stat-nkr.am/nkr/1-1.pdf〕
The village is the birthplace of Armenian prince and lieutenant general of the Russian Empire Valerian Madatov.
